Nursery (Ages 1 & under)
Rest assured that your baby will be well loved and cared for in the nursery.
Toddlers (Ages 2-5)
This class is for little ones age 2 to preschool age. We do a variety of activities including songs, stories, crafts, snacks, and video clips. Learning about Jesus is sure to be fun!
Grade School (Kindergarten-2nd grade)
This is our kindergarten through second grade class. The children study scriptures through the sharing of stories, songs, and hands-on activities.
J-Train (3rd grade-5th grade)
We learn more about Jesus and the ways he teaches us to bring love to the world. We watch videos, play games, listen to stories and have lesson time.
Middle School (6th-8th grade)
In this class we try to joyfully share the Word of God with 4th and 5th graders so that children in our community can be drawn to Jesus in a fun and exciting way. The children study scriptures through the sharing of stories, songs, and hands on activities.
Youth (9th-12th grade)
Our lessons focus on real life applications of the bible. We look at ways God’s word can shape how our youth think, act and serve. Discussions are centered around the joys and concerns that our youth face and ways that they can show the love of Christ to the world.
Stewards of the Word
This is a multi-generational class focused on studying and applying scriptural principles to daily life. Our text is the Bible, and each week we have lively and open discussion, encouraging each other through fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. We have no age limit, and no prior knowledge of the Bible is necessary. We don’t have all the answers, but we ask a lot of great questions, and our conversations energize our spiritual journey. All are invited to join us as we experience together the transformative power of God’s word.
Christian Fellowship
The Christian Fellowship Class is the young adult Sunday School Class that grew old together and continues to grow in numbers as we welcome all. Age ranges are late 40’s to mid 60’s. We are a lively discussion group that is centered in Bible study. We use the quarterly Adult Bible Series from Cokesbury as a foundation for our class discussions. Prayer, care, support, and action are our strong points.
Wanderers
“All who wander are not lost.” The Wanderers Sunday school class initially started as a young adult class. We now have folks ranging from college aged to mid-40’s but all ages are welcome. We typically use various video series that explore biblical or theological issues. Usually discussions are guided by our minister though anyone is welcome to lead the group. We laugh a lot and truly enjoy fellowship with one another, both inside and outside of class while exploring our faith and Christ’s love more deeply.
L.I.F.E.
The L.I.F.E. (Learn, Impact, Fellowship and Encourage) Sunday school class is for adults of all ages. The class structure offers open dialogue and discussion. A variety of resources are used to facilitate the class, including scripture, traditional Sunday school literature, DVD bible studies and single book studies. Through scripture and study, we share our faith and spiritual journey toward being a Disciple of Christ.
**Note: The Sunday school staff takes special steps to take care of our children both spiritually as well as physically. Due to several food allergies within the church, the Sunday school classes are a peanut, tree nut free area. Allergy friendly snacks will be provided for the children.**
